5VQ currently support two charity quilt initiatives, Quilts for care leavers and Cozy quilts.
Quilts for care leavers aim to provide a quilt (known as a “hug”) for young people exiting the care system and living independently. More information can be found on their website https://q4cl.org.uk.
Our quilts are sent to a local contact and ensure the quilts are distributed locally

Cosy quilts
Cosy quilts are a Gloucestershire based community group providing colourful patchwork quilts for those of any age who are ill, sick, disabled, bereaved or going through trauma in life. Current recipients are babies with special needs, children hospitals, residential homes for the elderly and a unit supporting teenagers from an abusive background. Examples below of quilts provided by 5VQ members.
